Cecilia - In a Little While
On May 5th, 2014, a 4-track EP, "IN A LITTLE WHILE", is released in Europe as download only at iTunes, Amazon, Musicload, etc. It features "Big Bird-Brain", "In a Little While", a great cover version of Mike Oldfield's classic "Moonlight Shadow", and the unplugged piece "Eternal Rain" (2000). It's released/distributed on iMusician Digital.
Ab dem 5. Mai 2014 gibt es als EU-Release eine 4-Track-EP, "IN A LITTLE WHILE", veröffentlicht in Europa als Download bei iTunes, Amazon, Musicload, etc.
Enthalten sind "Big Bird-Brain", "In a Little While", eine tolle Coverversion von Mike Oldfields Klassiker "Moonlight Shadow", sowie das Akustikstück "Eternal Rain" (2000er Version) von 2013. Das Label/Vertrieb ist iMusician Digital.

In December 2013, Cecilia recorded an acoustic version of Eternal Rain, the recording took place at the Esslingen based ARTES-Studio with Jürgen Treyz (ADARO, CARA) as engineer. Video shooting and editing by Kristina Handtrack of Film.Kunst.Werk, Germany. www.filmkunstwerk.de This song is not to be confused with the same title recorded with the band at Artist Studios back in 2000, and later in a different version, produced by Joerg Alfter.

"Memories" is Cecilia's album from 2008 (12 tracks including Thousand Years, Song About a Guy, Single Day, Quite New Feeling and Weisst du noch). It's a limited edition of 500 copies only. The download version was released 2011 on iMusician Digital. It's available @ iTunes or Amazon.

Das Album "Memories" enthält 12 Songs, bis auf zwei Ausnahmen in englischer Sprache gesungen. Sie handeln von den Erfahrungen, die Cecilia in den letzten Jahren machte, privat und in der Musik. Die Songs sind von atmosphärischer Dichte und gehen richtig unter die Haut. Es überwiegen die düsteren, kraftvollen Stücke, doch auch zarte Balladen mit Pop Appeal sind auf dem Album zu finden. Cecilia nimmt den Hörer mit auf eine musikalische Reise, die man nicht so schnell vergisst.
The album features 12 songs in English apart from two tracks. They deal with Cecilia's experiences of the past years, in private life as well as in music. The songs have a dense mood and get under your skin. There are more darker heavier pieces but also ballad-like songs with pop appeal. Cecilia takes you on a journey you won't forget.

In Charly Wilfers Buch "Das Lexikon der deutschen Liveszene" ist Cecilias Musikprojekt WILDEVE mit einem tollen Foto von Cecilia Lili Plieninger und einem Eintrag vertreten. Dort befindet sich die Gruppe neben anderen deutschen Bands in guter Gesellschaft: Farmer Boys, Die Happy, Fiddlers Green, De/Vision, Fünf Sterne Deluxe, Brings, Guano Apes, Bell, Book & Candle, Mouse on Mars, H-Blockx finden sich dort usw.
Charly Wilfer's book "Das Lexikon der deutschen Liveszene" ("A Encyclopaedia of the German Live Scene") is featuring Cecilia's music project WILDEVE with photograph and a great entry. In the book you can find all the big names of the German rock music scene at the time: Farmer Boys, Die Happy, Fiddlers Green, De/Vision, Fünf Sterne Deluxe, Brings, Guano Apes, Bell, Book & Candle, Mouse on Mars, H-Blockx, etc.

Der JGR der Stadt Göppingen initiierte 2001 die "TEAM-Broschüre" (Toleranz, Einsicht, Akzeptanz, Miteinander), ein Projekt gegen Fremdenfeindlichkeit. Zum Heft gehört eine Sampler-CD mit fünf ausgewählten Künstlern von Hip Hop bis Rock, etwa Rapper Phillie MC und Irean. Dabei ist auch Lili mit WILDEVE und dem Song "Borderline". Heft & CD gehen 5800-mal an Jugendeinrichtungen und Schulen.
WILDEVE contributes the track "Borderline" for the 2001 "TEAM" brochure & CD sampler of the city of Goeppingen, a beneficial project against racism. On the CD you can find selected artists ranging from rapper Phillie MC to Irean. 5800 copies of the CD are distributed to schools, youth clubs and other youth facilities.

1996 erhielt Cecilia ihren ersten Plattenvetrag und brachte mit Hilfe befreundeter Musiker unter dem Bandnamen WILDEVE das Album "Touch and Go" heraus (der Name einer Romanfigur in Thomas Hardys Roman "Return of the Native"). Die CD heimste nicht nur national positive Kritiken ein, sondern weckte auch in Frankreich, England, USA, Italien und Japan Interesse. Einige Songs landeten auf Compilations. Auch die Live-Präsenz der Gruppe fand ein reges Medienecho.
In 1996 she got her first record deal and recorded her first album. This album not only received nationwide best reviews but also caught attention in France, England, US, Italy, and even in Japan. Several songs were featured on compilations.

Ein Schnappschuss aus den "Original"-Thin Ice Studios (Maidenhead, zwischen London und Reading, das Studio ist heute in Surrey). Während der Aufnahmen zu den Backings für den Song "Embrace", Frühjahr 1993. Im Jahr zuvor nahm Cecilia dort unter der Regie von Produzent Clive Nolan den Song "Memory of you" auf.

and Reading. (The studio is now located in Surrey.) During the recording of the backings for the song "Embrace", spring 1993 (Cecilia's nickname was Eileen Ruthford). In the year before, she recorded with Clive Nolan as the producer the song "Memory of you" at the studio.
